Family Weekend 2023

The Office of Student Orientation and Family Engagement and Georgia State Athletics invite you and your family to our annual Family Weekend!

Watch the Georgia State Panthers take on the Troy University Trojans and spend the weekend exploring Atlanta with your student! Registration is $45 per family member and includes a game ticket, one meal at the Family Weekend tailgate, and access to the weekend's events. Family members will be seated in the student section with their students, as students receive free entry to athletic events with their Georgia State Panther Involvement Network (PIN) Pass. Student tickets for Family Weekend are $30.

Check-in and the Schedule of Events:

Sept. 29: 

Panther Plunge - Various Times

- Join Georgia State University in various volunteer initiatives throughout campus and the Atlanta area!

 Sept. 30: 

Family Weekend Tailgate - 5PM*

- The annual Family Weekend tailgate will take place inside Center Parc Stadium. Includes a meal, T-shirt and merchandise, and various activities to enjoy with your family!

Football vs. Troy University - Kickoff at 7PM*

- Join your student in the Georgia State student section to watch the Panthers take on the Troy Trojans!

 Oct. 1:

- Feel free to explore Atlanta with your family!

*Subject to change depending on final Athletics schedule.


Parking is available in the Green Lot for students - just a short walk to Center Parc Stadium.

Late Registration is now available and will close on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 11:55PM EST.

Due to the nature of this event, we are unable to offer refunds to families that have registered, but do not attend.
